Hotel Escalade

“The room was as clean as it gets, although some maintenance in the bathroom once a year will not be so bad, limestone has been deposited in the shower and it doesn't look that good. You find pretty much what you need in the room stored in little boxes, from toothbrush and toothpaste, to silicone brush for your shoes. The food is also amazing, breakfast is very various, launch and dinner might seem a little bit expensive but trust me that you get top notch food for what you pay. The location is also astonishing and off season is really quiet.”

“We had a great stay at this hotel, the rooms were being cleaned every day, the breakfast was rich and diverse and the vibe was positive and welcoming. The staff was polite and responsive. Would visit again!”

“Had a wonderful stay here. Staff were friendly and always smiled whilst wishing you a good day. They were constantly cleaning and keeping the hotel spotless. Breakfast was lovely. The staff were really attentive making sure everything was stocked up and the selection was surprisingly good! The items that really stood out were honeycomb and smoked salmon, you do not get that everywhere so I really enjoyed those! Lunches and dinners were lovely too. We had a lovely time. Thank you.”

“The food was great and the atmosphere was amazing too! I've known this place for a while and each time it's been just as good. After a hard day of snowboarding and skiing, we came here to relax and eat. The food arrived soon after we ordered and it was very tasty! Notable mention: it's a childfrendly restaurant as there is a kid's menu and a playground outside with a climbing wall, hence the name of the restaurant I believe. ("escalade"= climbing in French and it's close to the verb to climb in Romanian which is "a escalada"). Anyway, I really recommend this place!”

“We discovered the restaurant and food is amazing! The best we tried in the town! We stayed at another hotel and the meat quality, the cheesecake, selection of beers and staff were perfect! Also the playground next to it was lifesaver for taking our small kid there. I recommend all the people to try this traditional homemade and quality food and enjoy the nice atmosphere here at Escalade Restaurant”
